Most limo companies start their site off with pictures.
Unfortunately search engines don't read pictures. All they read is words. So when the search engines come to a limo site they often see something like:
"Enter".
To the search engines your limousine company website is about the subject, "Enter".They do not see the pictures.

You can check this for yourself. Go to: www.searchwho.com/sw5-pider.html. Put in www.silklimos.com. This site may appear to be very impressive to you, but to a search engine it is about one word; that word is "Index". Not very impressive. |
That's not the only site. Check out www.800clslimo.com.This, too, is a beautiful site...to look at. If it would only stop moving, I would absolutely love it…but what do the search engines see?

Another problem is FLASH.

Everyone likes FLASH; but what happens when a customer comes to your site, who doesn't have FLASH Player? They have to download FLASH to even see your sight. Or leave!

You might as well have a sign that reads,
| "Customers with FLASH Only!" |
Is that what you want?
We can do FLASH,
but FLASH should be used sparingly, if at all. FLASH is
never necessary.
There is another problem with FLASH and large picture files.

They take a long time to load. That doesn't bother me. I have high a speed internet connection!
But do you really want to be saying,

Now a customer finally gets to your site, and what does he see?

And very often a phone number is no where to be seen.
Now you wouldn't even hand out a business card without your phone number on it. Yet these high tech displays very often don't even include a phone number!
At this point you may think I must be wrong. Big companies do it like
this. How could they do so well if their web sites are so bad? There must
be more to this than I am letting on.
There is. Big limousine companies are well known off line. They are part of a big network. They don't need to be good on line, because they are very well known off line. Their reputation precedes them.
This is your
advantage. You can make your site better than their site...
…a lot better, and you'll be able to do better
in the search engines
than they do.
This does not happen instantaneously. It usually takes two to three months. It can take as long as six months to see the full effect. That's why we offer a long guarantee, to give you a chance to see your results!
To make your limo site work better than the other limousine company sites on the internet, there are two main things you can do:

1) Make a good looking site with the right words on the page. Good looking is for the customer! The words are for the search engine so it can find you. The search engines look for words. If you have the right words on your page the search engines will find you! And if the search engines find you, then your limo customers will find you, too! Your limousine customers will also read the words to find out what you do; to find out what makes you better than all the other limo companies. This is your chance! Of course by now you will have a good looking sight, but it is good to tell the customer what makes you better, too. We do this for you.

2) Begin a linking campaign to other websites. We do this for you, too. A linking campaign is your way of being well known on the internet. A company, like CLS, may be well known off the net, but you can make your business well known on the internet by linking to other companies.You want a lot of links; you also want quality. The QUANTITY of links is important, but QUALITY of links is important, too; sometimes even more important! We can begin a linking campaign for you. |
